Prison Surprise: The FormerPresident Bolsonaro Confronts Time in Prison

A couple of months after being handed a quarter-century plus sentence for trying to “destroy” the nation's political system, former president Jair Bolsonaro finally appears destined for incarceration.
Imminent Incarceration

He is not the lone figure expressing views prior to the former president’s predicted detention.
Writing in a prominent daily, a different supporter, the former government official Fábio Wajngarten, deplored the “brutal” finale to Bolsonaro’s “impeccable” time in office and asserted Brazil was about to see “the biggest political injustice in its past”.
“It is an unfairness that erodes the souls of countless people in Brazil,” Wajngarten wrote.
Varied Public Reaction
It is possibly accurate given the substantial support Bolsonaro maintains on the conservative side.
