An early access session giving gamers a chance to experience the release in recent months set new benchmarks, and the hype leading up to its release has been huge.
But the endeavor is still a significant venture for developer Electronic Arts, which has according to sources allocated hundreds of millions of money making it.
Reporters have talked to several the makers to learn how they aim it will succeed.
Development Group and Company Cooperation
A total of four teams were creating the game under the unified development banner.
This includes veteran producer the Swedish studio, based in Europe, LA's Motive developers and the Canadian studio in Canada.

A key those lessons was to get fans participating from the start, and the developers launched exclusive player testing sessions in recent months.
Their "feedback was incredibly positive," says the manager.
One more omitted component from the last game was a single-player campaign, which has been reintroduced for this release.
Criterion project head the design director is the one in charge of "guaranteeing those levels are as entertaining and engaging as feasible for the audience."
Regardless of reports that the scope of the game had challenged the multiple teams collaborating internationally to create the title, he is optimistic about the process.
"Partnering with varied cultures, varied heritages, it's a very engaging environment to be involved in daily," he says.
"This whole strategy has been a fresh take but additionally really inspiring because we are working with team members from all over the world."
As for the anticipation on the team, he comments: "We feel stress but additionally it's thrilling.
"This is a major project. It's probably the biggest that many of us have previously participated in."
Emerging Talent Contributes New View

The 21-year-old produces the atmospheric effects that define the mood, tone, and narrative of the story mode.
